Send it to families who could use a StepSafe. Anyone who buys through your link, or types your code, gets 5% off eligible products.
Step 3
Get paid
You earn 15% of what they paid for those products. It becomes yours 30 days after their device ships, and we pay by e-transfer, PayPal or Wise.
An example
Say a friend uses your link and orders US$200 of eligible products. Your 5% takes US$10 off, so they pay US$190. You earn 15% of that US$190, which is US$28.50.
Commission is worked out on what they actually paid for eligible products, after the 5% discount and before any tax. Orders in Canadian dollars earn commission in Canadian dollars.
What counts
Counts: devices, Lifetime Pro, the two-packs, bundles, prepaid service, StepSafe Care and Protect, additional devices, accessories and the Premium Digital Safety Kit, when they are in the order at checkout.
Does not count: donations, Sponsor a Device, Gift a Lifetime, and Buy One, Sponsor One. That money goes to families who cannot afford a device, so it gets no discount and earns no commission. Buy One, Sponsor One is sold as a single product at a single price, so the whole product is left out. Monthly service is billed separately once a device is activated, and never earns commission.
When you get paid
Your commission becomes payable 30 days after the order ships. Orders can be cancelled for a refund until they ship, and there is a 30 day window to report damage after delivery, so we wait 30 days after shipping before an order counts as settled. Devices ship in early 2027, so expect your first payout around early to mid 2027.
Refunded or cancelled orders earn nothing. You can watch every order move from waiting to ship, to shipped, to payable, to paid on your dashboard. We pay by Interac e-Transfer (in Canada), PayPal or Wise. See an example dashboard.
The rules, in short
- Say that you earn a commission whenever you share your link or code.
- No spam. Only message people who know you or have asked to hear from you.
- Do not bid on “StepSafe” or our brand names in search ads.
- Do not make medical or safety promises. Describe StepSafe the way stepsafekids.com does, and nothing more.
- Your own orders do not earn commission, and your code gives you no discount.
- The last partner link someone clicked counts for 60 days. A code typed at checkout counts over a link.
