About StepSafe Kids

StepSafe Kids is in development. Our product is a GPS tracker for children, planned to launch on Kickstarter in 2026 with estimated delivery in February 2027. Launch dates and product features are subject to change.

Waitlist Information

Joining the waitlist does not guarantee priority access, discounts, or product availability. Final launch details, pricing, and reward tiers will be announced via email.

$1 Reservations

By purchasing a $1 Reservation, you agree to the following:

• The $1 payment reserves a unique, single-use access URL granting a guaranteed Early Bird reward slot when our Kickstarter campaign launches. Reservations made before 27 July 2026 were sold on our earlier VIP Founder's tier terms, and those are honoured as originally offered.
• Early Bird is capped at 200 backers. Availability is not guaranteed once the cap is reached.
• Refunds are available within 14 days of purchase if you have not yet redeemed your secret URL. After redemption, the reservation is non-refundable.
• Reservations do not constitute a pre-order or commitment to receive the product. The Kickstarter campaign itself is the binding purchase commitment.
• StepSafe Kids reserves the right to cancel any reservation suspected of fraud or duplicate registration.

By providing your email, you consent to receive product updates, launch information, and related marketing emails from StepSafe Kids. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Safety Disclaimer

StepSafe Kids is a location-awareness aid and does not replace responsible adult supervision. No tracking device can guarantee a child’s safety, and StepSafe Kids should be used as one part of a broader safety plan.

Information on this site about future products, features, pricing, or launch dates is forward looking and subject to change. We do our best to communicate honestly but cannot guarantee that all stated plans will be realized exactly as described.

Refunds and Cancellations

Pledges made through Kickstarter are governed by Kickstarter’s Terms of Use. If you backed our campaign, your pledge is a transaction with Kickstarter, and their terms and their process apply to it, including anything to do with cancelling or refunding a pledge. The terms below apply to purchases made directly through this site.

For $1 Reservations: Refunds available within 14 days of purchase if the secret URL has not been redeemed. To request a refund, email support@stepsafekids.com. After URL redemption or after the 14-day window, reservations are non-refundable.

Limitation of Liability

stepsafekids.com is provided “as is” without warranties. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this website or signup to our waitlist.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in Toronto, Ontario.
