Worth knowing
What lifetime actually means
Service for the working life of the device you receive. Not your lifetime, and not transferable to a device you buy later. If that device stops working and cannot be repaired, the service ends with it.
What happens if it breaks
The one year warranty covers manufacturing defects. After that, Lifetime Pro holders can buy a replacement device at a reduced price and carry the service across to it. See the warranty terms for the current figure.
No price rises
A monthly plan can go up. This cannot, because there is nothing left to bill.
Lifetime service and the warranty are different things
Lifetime covers the service. The hardware carries the same one year warranty as every other device, and StepSafe Care extends that to two. If the device fails outside warranty, Lifetime holders can replace it at a reduced price and keep the service.
